For this work, artist Marc Fichou had the intention to create a piece where the image cannot be separated from its referent.This concept naturally led him towards origami because of the reversible character of its folding process: each can be unfolded back to its creases.The images are a visual link to past and present. The sheet of paper contains both the photographic and the material memories of its past origami form.
