These cloths are made by two young Berlin-based fashion designers, Johanna Perret and Tutia Schaad with their label Perret Schaad.After graduating 2009 from the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee, a reputable public art school, they joined together and showed in January as newcomers their first collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. They were supported by a great feedback from the press ( Vogue Germany and Women’s Wear Daily New York amongst others). Compared to many other fashion designers in Berlin, their style and choice for quality is very high and their looks show their affection to minimalism, clear coulours and architecture.
I am looking forward to see more of them. I wish them luck and staying power at the Berlin Fashion Week , where the glamour and the free champagne is often more important than the actual subject.
