Passion for illustration

Today I finally write about Tina Berning, a Berlin-based illustrator, whose work I totally adore. Her drawings are made analog with mainly ink and watercolour and then transformed and put together digitally. Her compositions with ink lines, rough paper background, coulours, faces, fashion, and, and, and are coming from a passion in drawing. Her main favorite topic are women.

You have to visit her site and look at the amount of work samples , she is presenting there. Clients are New York Times, VOGUE, AD, Die ZEIT, lots of german magazins, Playboy, Bionade etc. But my absolute favorite is the part called ” diary” where she puts drawings, which developed in the progress but are no final pieces. These pictures -in my eyes- contain so much life and beauty because they “seem” to be not perfectly finished.

And I also found on the vast web a interview made by twoforfashion.de . But the conversation is in german, but still you shall watch it, because she is showing there also lots of magazins and book in which she did some illustrations.
